One service I had was not good the engineer has cut a sound reducing cover at back of the engine to get at plugs 5-6 to save time rather than take off what was necessary to get at them. He will not be working on my car again.

Following the conversation regarding the car needing oil at 7k, I was told it was unusual and was charged £20 for oil and a 2hour round trip to collect. I was also told there was a brake recall on the car but BMW have no parts to complete the work.

Upon picking up my vehicle the technician had left clips off heat shield, Maf sensor cable not secured, coolant hose not secured. The health check was provided from my previous visit and not recent. Overall a really poor visit this time.

Some of the display was changed and I found this confusing e.g. no time or date and unable to set these myself. Also the battery was very low when I drove home resulting in losing all lights when I got home. It was fine the following morning.

Car recovered back to Sytner very quickly on Wed 6/3 and a hire car provided. Sytner called Thurs 7/3 to advise the car was fixed and being returned, but it didn't arrive until Sun 10/3. Hire car taken away Fri 8/3.

Excellent. Communication was faultless. From the time I arrived I was escorted to the reception desk and met my service advisor. Chantelle Syaid. The car was in for a service having bought it as an approved used. Chantelle arranged for all works.

Would have been 5 but on this occasion I didn't get replies to my two emails asking for assistance and had to wait an excessive period of time albeit in the customer lounge, whilst a replacement tyre was fitted. Despite the work being booked in.

Sytner Swansea sold me a car with inadequate tyres. One could blame Bridgestone as they made these rubbish tyres, but according to the Which magazine legal team, it is Sytner who should be chasing up these tyres and getting them to Bridgestone.

All this would have been avoided had the mechanic replaced the key as requested when I brought the car in for the service back in 2023. I am now in an unfortunate and expensive predicament.

The quote when booking was £438.63, but the invoice was £469.28 which I only noticed when I got home. A month has passed since the service and the amount was queried. No refund yet received.

Solved the issue we had, couldnt ask for more. However one feedback, is for the technician, they removed the 2 child car seats in the car, but didnt replace them back correctly. They should have advised on handing the car back. Its a safety issue.

The diagnostics appeared to indicate the issue I have with my BMW X3. However, I am still not satisfied that the outcome was satisfactory. I still needed to drive the vehicle home knowing it was potentially unsafe to do so.
